ASC-CS170 calcium silicate is a kind of prefabricated, high temperature resistant, super-light insulation material for pipelines. As one of the few ultra-light hard insulation materials in China, it greatly reduces the unit weight and thermal conductivity and improves the insulation effect under the condition of fulfilling the strength requirement for service.
It contains a special preservative ingredient, which can effectively avoid corrosion under the insulation layer (CUI), making calcium silicate one of the most-unlikely insulation materials to corrode pipelines.It has Certified ASTM C692 and ASTM C871 tests and conforms to ASTM C795 standard.
A rigid thermal insulation material with high strength and micropore structure (Compressive strength ≥500 KPa) will effectively prevent damage from bumps and tramples and greatly reduce the load on pipeline equipment.
Under the conditions of correct installation and use as required, ASC-CS170 calcium silicate has superior physical strength and temperature resistance which will last for at least 35 years.
